Valordek exists because a family of waterproofing installers got tired of working with products that didn't hold up.

In 1998, we started as Canadian Siding and Sundecks Ltd. — a three-person crew working out of a 600 square foot garage in Surrey, BC. We installed siding, soffit, and sundecks. We were on rooftops and balconies every day, in the rain, watching how materials performed over time. We saw which products lasted and which ones cracked, peeled, or leaked within a few years.

By 2007, decking and waterproofing had become our focus. We incorporated as All Seasons Waterproofing and moved into our first warehouse. Over the next several years, we grew from a small crew into a wholesale operation serving the Lower Mainland, distributing vinyl decking products for other manufacturers.

But we kept running into the same problems on the jobsite. Products that didn't weather Canadian conditions. Colours that faded. Seams that failed. Pricing that made it hard for our dealers to compete. We knew the product could be better because we'd spent years installing it.

In 2015, we started building our own.

Three Years of R&D. One Product Line.

We spent three years on research, development, and certification before launching a single product. We worked with CCMC and Intertek to test and certify our PVC formulations. We developed UV stabilizers rated for Canadian conditions from -40C to 80C. We designed 11 colours across three style lines — Wood Look, Stone Look, and Classic — because our customers told us the options from other manufacturers looked outdated.

In 2018, Valordek launched.

Today, all Valordek products are manufactured in Canada. We operate out of an 8,100 square foot warehouse in Surrey, BC, where we stock every product, accessory, and adhesive a dealer or homeowner needs to complete a job. No backorders. No waiting.

A Manufacturer That Answers the Phone

We are a family business. When you call Valordek, you get Evan or Sukh — people who have personally installed vinyl decking on hundreds of projects. They can tell you which adhesive to use, how to handle a tricky drain detail, or which colour looks best on a south-facing balcony. They have been doing this since 1998.
